Temporary Online Cards

A temporary library card barcode and password allow you to start requesting items and access online resources. After registering online, you will have one month to visit the Library to receive a permanent library card and begin checking items out.
  1. Visit CAFÉ Libraries Online.
  2. Select Log In/Register on the My Account menu.
  3. Parents must apply for children under 13 years old.
  4. Select Click here to register now.
  5. Select the Oconomowoc Public Library from the home library drop-down menu.
  6. Enter your postal code. Select Continue.
  7. Select your appropriate city and county from the drop-down menu. Select Continue.
  8. Fill in your information accurately and create a temporary username and password. Click Submit.
  9. A temporary barcode, username, and password give you access to your online account.
  10. Visit the Library within a month to complete the registration and receive a permanent library card.
    1. Provide photo identification and proof of current address:
      • An up-to-date government-issued I.D. works for both.
      • If you do not have an up-to-date I.D., please provide a bill or mail with your name and address on it.
